My name is Todd. I’m 38, married, with three kids. I live near Augusta, GA. I work as an Environmental & Safety Compliance Admnistrator at a federal agency and love training and participating in triathlons and running events.
More recently, I became a certified USA Triathlon coach and took over as the Head Coach for Augusta’s Dream Team Youth Tri Club.
Noticed I didn’t say “racing?” That’s because I’d have to have a chance to win if I were racing. Do I try my best? You bet.
I started this journey at 199 lbs and not being able to run for more than 30 seconds, barely swim 25 yards without wanting to flip to my back, and thought 12 miles was an absurd distance to ride a bike. I did my first half ironman in 2012. In 2013, I did four more 70.3’s and a full iron distance race. In addition, I qualified for the Rev3 Age Group National Championship race. However, in 2014, I’ve decided to do my best not to compete and rather focus on the kids tri club… Ok, well that seemed to become a lie because I’ve done two 50K trail runs, a 25k trail run, and a sprint triathlon.
